Harv Rubenstein is no stranger to the gamblers life and has been betting in some fashion since 1962. From cards to horses to sports, Harv has a passion for finding an edge and winning. Harv won't give you the exact figure but it was Game 4 of the 1984 NBA Finals and it was during the Lakers remarkable run in the 80's. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird were the games rising stars and the '84 Finals was an epic battle between two rivals. Harv had the Lakers to win Game 4 and the series and it all went downhill when the Lakers had a 5 point lead with less than a minute left in the game. Poorly executed play down the stretch lead to overtime, which led to the Celtics taking Game 4 and going on to win the Finals in 7 games. It's safe to say that Harv has never looked at NBA betting the same and but it provided him with experience over the years that is worth more than it's weight in gold.
